The Avaya Octel Aria 250 and 350 solutions were ideal for organizations with large messaging communities or high traffic levels, Octel 250/350 message servers provided convenient access to voice and fax messages. The Octel 250/350 message servers offered many call processing applications, including voice messaging, telephone answering, automated attendant and fax messaging, which helped strengthen communications and collaboration among employees, customers, partners, and suppliers. The Octel 250/350 servers were built on a distributed processing architecture in order to deliver the highest reliability and availability in the market at the time. The popular Octel Aria® telephone user interface (TUI) became the standard emulation in voice messaging.

With a maximum of 72 ports, the Octel 250 message server supported up to 945 hours of storage and 15,000 mailboxes. The Octel 350 message server had a maximum of 144 ports and supports up to 1,350 hours of storage and 30,000 mailboxes.
